Lil' Inker Designs June Release: Day 1

Hello!  It's time for a new Lil' Inker Designs release! The new products are already available in the  Lil' Inker Designs store!  If you are following along in the blog hop you should have come from Heather Hoffman's blog! There are three $15 gift certificates to the LID store up for grabs, so the more blogs you comment on, the better your chances are of winning!  Today, I have 2 cards to share.

For this card I started by creating a frame with the new Fringe Scalloped Square Dies.  They make the perfect sized window on an A2 card front!  I lined the square window with a piece of patterned paper from the Ombre Stripes paper pack.

Next I used several products from the the new Warm Welcome series that I love!  I die cut the wreath, flowers & banner from the Warm Welcome Die Set. I stamped the coordinating flower images and sentiment from the Warm Welcome Stamp Set.  There are lots of different options on how you stamp the flowers in this set!  Lastly, I die cut the Welcome Word Die and attached it to the banner.

My last card today uses several more new stamp sets plus the Fringe Scalloped Square Dies that I used in the first card.  After I created my border with the Fringe Scalloped die, I attached the Stitched Scallop Border Die to the bottom.  

I stamped the sweet little flower cluster from the Hello, Beautiful Stamp Set and colored it with watercolor pencils.  That sentiment is from a set that I've been itching to share with you for MONTHS!  It is the new Sassy Script Stamp Set and it is going to be HOT so get it before it goes out of stock!  ;) It is an alphabet set that you can create any word with that you'd like!  I really like the size and font of this set and it was super easy to line up!

Hugs & Prayers

 

I recently acquired the PTI Painted Petals Anniversary Set and today was the day I got to try it out.  It took me a few times to get the colors right, but I had a great time playing around with all of the color combinations.  After I stamped all of the flowers & leaves from the PTI Painted Petals stamp set, I die cut a piece of vellum with the Lil' Inker Designs Silly Stitched die.  I then embossed the black sentiment on the vellum and then attached the flowers.  I die cut the prayers with ombre paper from the Hero Arts Prayers set.  

I based my color scheme on the Cupcakes Inspirations Challenge #362.

Hi!  I'm excited to share a card with you for this first day in June that I made for the last Lil' Inker Designs release.  It was the very first card I made using these products but I've saved it to share until now.  

The Fringed Scalloped Rectangle Dies are perfect for creating scenes inside of!  (They also make great frames for all of your shaker cards!)  I created the grass in this scene with one of the dies from the Border Builders Die Set.  The cute little bear is die cut with the Kite Flying Dies (and as a note the dies cut much closer than shown here.  I have the sample dies but the dies in the store do not have that much border around them.) & then stamped with the coordinating Kite Flying Stamp Set. I love that there are different options for the bear's vest!  How cute is that!?

The little swirl for the kite string & the kite is also die cut with the Kite Flying Dies and then stamped with the coordinating Kite Flying Stamp Set.   The sun is the Sunshine Die Small.
