It's my time to host the StampNation weekend challenge and I wanted to share the card I made for that here.
The theme is Black & White with a pop of color. I've always been drawn to color schemes like this and typically I pair bright colors with the black & white. For this card, I decided to tone it down a little and I used more spa like colors.
I stamped my background on white cardstock. Detailed background stamps make a great start for a black & white card! After stamping the Doodle Garden Background, I angled the paper on my card front, adhered it and then cut off the overhang from each side. I chose three colors of cardstock from my stash resembling Bay Breeze, It's a Girl & Sauna inks. I die cut each of those colors four times with the super cute Butterfly Buddies dies. I adhered each of the three butterflies in the same color together for dimension and then added the fourth butterfly to the top only gluing the center part so I could fan the wings up. I stamped the sentiment in Bay Breeze Ink from the Typed Up Sentiments Stamps.
