Today is Your Day + Sale!
Catherine Pooler Designs is having a sale starting at 9 PM EST TONIGHT through the end of the day on Tuesday, February 25th on some of my favorite products pictured above. The card I am sharing today uses several of the sale products.
I determined my color palette (Party Dress, Tutti Frutti, Lime Rickey, Something Borrowed & Sauna) and then started stamping. I drew a circle where my sentiment would be and then started stamping the 1/2 circles from the Punctuated Party Stamp Set around the outside. I filled the colors in using the little circle dots from the same set and then embossed the small white striped circle with white embossing powder.

The sentiment is from the Punctuated Party Stamp Set and is popped up with dimensional tape. I added some twine to the background that I stamped with the Sketch Plaid Background Stamp that I love! It makes such wonderful backgrounds!

Heffy Doodle and Catherine Pooler Collaboration Blog Hop
Hi everyone and welcome to the Catherine Pooler Designs & Heffy Doodle Collaboration Blog Hop! Our design teams have come together to share some inspiration with the new Heffy Doodle and Catherine Pooler releases, and there is a prize up for grabs, too (more on that below)!
The Chimply the Best stamps from Heffy Doodle paired with the Happy X Three dies from Catherine Pooler are what I used to make this colorful card.
I first die cut the Happy X Three dies to set the basis for the card. I knew I wanted to revolve the cute little chimp around it. I cut strips with my paper cutter to ground the happy die cuts (I love how they layer so much!). I then stamped & colored the chimp and bananas with copics from Chimply the Best stamps & then die cut with the coordinating Chimply the Best dies. I stamped the birthday sentiment, from the So Happy Sentiments stamp set, also from Catherine Pooler Designs on Midnight cardstock and then heat embossed it in white.
If you regularly visit my blog this next card may look familiar. That is because I previously made a video showing how to make this background using the Geo Curves Stamp Set from Catherine Pooler (you can find that video here). Once I finished the card and it was sitting on my desk I thought it would look so cute with one of the chimps swinging from the happy sentiment so I added him.
How fun would it be to swing in a world of rainbows? I'm in!
