Love You + Adoring You Catherine Pooler Release

Hey everyone!! Guess what?  The last Stamp of Approval collection from Catherine Pooler is now available in the shop!  The new products are all linked below.  

This collection includes one of my favorite "love you" stamps and I'm excited it's finally been released!  This card is super simple and uses just one stamp set!  I stamped and then die cut the Love You sentiment from the Happy Together stamp set and coordinating Happy Together dies.  Then I stamped the little heart included in the set 3 times with the same ink colors.  That's it!

Celebrate a New Release at Catherine Pooler Designs

There's a new release happening over at Catherine Pooler Designs today at 9 AM EST and I am sharing another sneak peek of one of the products!  

Bursts & Backgrounds

This release includes lots of fun products for backgrounds!  It has a Color Bursts & Liquid Sparkle set that was so much fun to play with!  And there are lots of background stamps & stencils! 

Climbing Flowers
My favorite product from this release is this gorgeous Climbing Flowers background stamp (available Wednesday, August 21st at 9 AM EST).  

For this card I stamped the Climbing Flowers background in black ink and then added a rainbow celebrate sentiment die cut with the Celebrate die.  I added a rainbow border to each side also.  Simple, simple, simple!  I love quick & easy cards!

Hello Lovely

I had never played with Color Bursts before this release and it was so much fun!  The results you can achieve are amazing!  I've shared a sneak peek of a 2nd card I made using these exact same colors and it's amazing the difference.  I'll share that as soon as I have my video finished on how I achieved it.

So for this card I took a piece of watercolor paper because I knew I'd be using a lot of water.  I put the color burst directly on the paper and then start spritzing water on a little at a time.  Once I had as much water on it as I wanted, (I didn't want to water it down too much so that I could keep the vibrant colors on the paper) I moved some of the color around with a paint brush.  This worked really well and helped some of the colors not to mix too much and get muddy.   

I used the new Garden Gate die cut out of Midnight cardstock and attached it to the card.  I stamped the hello lovely sentiment with Samba ink using the Isn't she Lovely stamp set  and coordinating Lovely Word die.
