Merry Christmas!! It's finally here! I love this time of the year so much! I hope you have a wonderful holiday celebration!
Did you know that Noel means Christmas? So when you sing of the "First Noel", you are singing about the first Christmas, when Christ entered this earth as a tiny baby all of those years ago. And he grew up and died on the cross for our sins. Wow!

For this card I created a scene by cutting out a window from a piece of patterned paper in the Love, Doves & Poinsettia's Paper Pack using one of the Nested Labels dies. I then started layering the scene. I created the hills by die cutting white glitter paper with the Winterhaven dies. I use those dies a ton for hills! I also embossed snowflakes onto the green/blue sky using snowflakes from the Winter Woodland stamp set. I then placed the tree & deer, die cut using the Snow Globe dies. The Noel is also from the Snow Globe dies but I first blended Rouge ink on a piece of Premium White Cardstock before die cutting.
Before I leave today I wanted to share a video which is a tradition that I do every Christmas. I love celebrating Christmas but I also know that this can be a very hard time for some people. This is a song by one of my favorite groups, Casting Crowns.

When your pain runs deep
His love runs deeper still
He has always loved you, child
And He always will
Somewhere in your silent night
Heaven hears the song
Your broken heart has cried
Hope is here, just lift your head
For love has come to find you
Somewhere in your silent night
Lift your head
Lift your heart
Emmanuel will meet you where you are
He knows your hurt
He knows your name
And you’re the very reason that He came
Somewhere in your silent night
Heaven hears the song your broken heart has
cried
Hope is here, just lift your head
For love has come to find you
Somewhere in your silent night
Love will find you!
This Christmas is all about how much Jesus loves YOU! He came to this earth for YOU! I pray you find Him this Christmas season!
Merry Christmas!
