Don't you hate it when you realize you need a card for a certain occasion and you need it NOW and you don't have anything suitable? Me too!!
Well, about a month ago I was looking in the Target $1 Spot (love that place!!) and found a few packs of plain pink note cards. I picked up a few boxes of pink ones since I needed to do some more baby thank yous (finally got those done). They were cute plain but I wanted to add a little something to them to make them more "babyish". So, I stamped a bunch of the ducks from the TAC "Seasonal Cuties" set on white paper and then stamped the "Thank You" from TAC's "Ordinary Greetings" set (a MUST have stamp set) in black Noir underneath. Then, I used the square scallop punch to punch them out. I attached them to the cards using a pop dot and on this one I used a Stardust glitter pen to color one of the flowers purple (but this step can be omitted for even faster cards!!).
My only regret is that I didn't buy more of the card sets because when I went back for more they were all gone!
If you have plain note cards at home or see them on sale for a bargain you can use them to easily make a card for any occasion very quickly! Just by pulling out the Seasonal Cuties set you can have quick birthday, baby, celebration, Christmas, school, etc themed cards! And, by using stamps with solid images, you won't have to spend time that you may not have to color in the images. Just be sure to keep both girly and masculine plain colored cards on hand!
