It's sneak peek time for the Summer Nights Release from Catherine Pooler Designs!
Summer Nights will go live in the shop on Wednesday, May 4th. It has some great summer products that you will enjoy using! And if you have kids or grandkids or friends going to camp, then this is a great release for you!
I have to admit that I love how this card turned out! It reminds me of some old china we had growing up that was blue and white. This kind of has a watercolor, stained glass look to it!
I took watercolor paper and embossed all of these butterflies, moths, etc from the lovely new Night in Flight Stamp Set in white. Then, I put a little tiny drop of reinker from Juniper Mist, Dress Blues, Suede Shoes, Cove Blue and Tranquil Inks onto a plate. I used a water brush pen to pick up the colors and started mixing the colors onto the embossed images. When I was done coloring, I die cut them out and then attached them with foam tape (only in the middle of each image) onto my white card front leaving room around the image that I had stamped from the same stamp set. I lifted each wing up for a little dimension as well.
