Happy Anniversary!

Today is my parent's wedding anniversary and I wanted to make them a card.  I wanted to make it elegant and to incorporate the colors from the Off the Wall Craftiness color challenge this week which were black, orange & white!  I know, maybe not your traditional anniversary colors but that is why it is a challenge right!?  LOL!!

So, here is my card:

I think it turned out OK!  I stamped the medallions in VersaMark and then embossed them.   The contrast of the white and black is so striking in real life.

Here are the challenge colors:

I don't know if you can see in the picture or not, but I used the PTI Linen Impression Plate to give the white some texture. This makes such a huge difference! I used a PTI Fillable Frame die and stamp and cut the frame in half, stamped the sentiment on it and then tucked it under the bow.

Thanks again for stopping by!  I hope you enjoyed this non-traditional anniversary card!  I hope my parents enjoy it too!  Have a nice day!

Supplies (all PTI unless noted)
Stamps: WPlus9 Mehndi Medallions, PTI Fillable Frames, Round & Round
Paper: White, True Black
Ink: True Black, VeraMark, Persimmon VersaMagic
Other: White Embossing Powder, PTI Linen/Canvas Impression Plate, Fillable Frames Die, Ribbon

This is gorgeous...love the black with the soft orange...so pretty. I have been meaning to ask...what is the dotted paper you have been using in your backbrounds?

Oh, this is really great! I love the WAY you utilized the colors. I always tend to saturate my cards with color and I would love to be able to have this type of white space. I haven't been able to do it..lol. I think your parents will love the card. It's very elegant and a very pretty card.
