I started with the background which I created using a new die from Frantic Stamper called Triangle Card Panel. After I cut out the panel I adhered scotch tape to the back side to keep all of the little triangles in place since I wanted to selectively choose which triangles to replace. I then popped out the triangles I wanted to replace and since the scotch tape was already in place all I had to do was pop the new green, red & gold pieces back in.
I cut out the beautiful Script Merry Christmas in gold glitter paper and also in chipboard and glued them together to create more dimension. I then adhered it on top of the panel.
I tied a little gold silk ribbon to the card to finish it off and to tie all of the golds together.
Here's the inspiration photo that we were to use.
As I was driving home today, I was thinking about how to use this cover die as a Christmas card. My idea wasn't quite like yours, but I love yours! Clean, graphic and full of interest! So glad you joined us at Festive Friday!
