Thanks You Made My Day! Beautiful New Year Release from Catherine Pooler

It's time for another sneak peek time for the next Catherine Pooler Release, Beautiful New Year.  The release will go live in the shop on Wednesday, December 9th at 9 AM EST.  If you are a StampNation member you get to shop EARLY on Tuesday, December 8th!  But in the meantime, enjoy some sneak peeks of what is coming!  Please note that new release products are linked in this post but won't be live in the store until the times mentioned above.

I really love this next card because, well, it is made with a pretty plaid paper!  I could have a whole pad of just this design!

This card was super simple to put together too! I first created my background using two patterns from the Fleur de Patterned Paper Pack.  I left a gap between the two patterns, and popped the plaid up with dimensional tape so that it is higher than the black & white polka dotted paper.  

I die cut the Deco Thanks Word Die from paper that coordinates with the Deck the Halls Ink three times and then stacked them together for dimension.  I then attached that over the gap using liquid adhesive.  I cut a strip of paper for the sentiment using the new gotta-have it Mod Strips Cover Plate Die (MAN! I LOVE this new die!!) and then stamped it with a sentiment from the also new Sincere Thanks Stamp Set.  I finished the card by adding some sequins from the Pierre, Christmas Cove & Crater Lake Sequin mix.
