Winter Trio Hop with Catherine Pooler, Heffy Doodle, and WOW!

Hello and welcome to the Catherine Pooler + Heffy Doodle + Wow! Blog Hop!  You are in for some fun today!  Be sure to hop along and comment on all of the blogs for your chance to win one of three gift certificates up for grabs today!  More details on that below.

I have two cards to share today.

Jen Carter Alpine Village CP Heffy Doodle Penguins Wow Happiness

I stamped the super cute Alpine Village houses from Catherine Pooler in lots of beautiful colors of Catherine Pool ink: Rouge, Polished, Sauna, Seafoam, Daydream & Sangria.   I LOVE Catherine's inks! (See the full collection here.) I die cut them with the coordinating Alpine Village Dies.  I also added some "snow" to the tops of the houses using Sparkling Snow Embossing Powder from Wow!  I die cut the slimline scalloped shape using another die by Catherine Pooler called Essentials Slimline Die (if you like Slimline cards this is a GREAT addition to your collection!!).  For the snowflakes in the background I used the Heffy Doodle First Snow Stencil and Mint to Be Ink and blended the snowflakes in.

Those penguins...oh my how sweet are they?  I stamped those from the Heffy Doodle Wanna Build a Snowman Stamp Set.  And then I colored them with copic markers.  I also added some of the Sparkling Snow Embossing Powder to the tops of the penguins heads and underneath them to look like they are standing in/sliding on snow!  I die cut the snowy hills with the Catherine Pooler Melon Edge Dies and then added more of the embossing powder to the top of the hills too.  The sentiment is from the One Liners Sentiments Stamp Set which has tons of great and unique sentiment choices!

This card has a softer feel to it than the last card.

Jen Carter Alpine Village Mountain Thanks CP Heffy Doodle Penguin Snowman Wow Warmest Wishes

I used many of the same products I used on the first card.  I stamped the three houses from the Alpine Village Stamp Set in Bellini, Mint to Be & Tiara inks.  I thought it would be fun to add some mountains in the background so I stamped the CP Mountain of Thanks Stamps in VersarMark and then embossed them with WOW!'s Mint Macaroon Embossing Powder.  The clouds in the background were made with the Melon Edge Die from CP.

I used the Heffy Doodle First Snow Stencil in the background and brushed VersaMark over it (2 times) and then embossed with Wow's White Puff Twinkle Embossing Glitter and Pink Sherbert Embossing GlitterI stamped the cute snowman & penguin (and sentiment) using the Heffy Doodle Wanna Build a Snowman Stamp Set. I colored them with copics.  I cut a snowy hill that I placed behind the houses and in front of the mountains and added Sparkling Snow Embossing Glitter from WOW! on the tops of that as well. The sentiment is stamped in Black Jack ink.

Make sure to comment along the way for your chance to win! Both WOW! and Catherine Pooler will be giving away $25 to their respective stores & Heffy Doodle will be giving away £20 to their store!

Each company will post their random winner on Tuesday, November 17th at 10AM EST!  Make sure to check the Heffy Doodle Blog, Catherine Pooler Blog and the WOW! Blog to see if you’re a winner!
