Welcome to the blog hop for the new Catherine Pooler Designs Unsinkable Release!

All of the products are NOW AVAILABLE in the Catherine Pooler store!  This collection features fun beach themed products!  And also available with this release are Christmas themed items from the previous Home for the Holidays Stamp of Approval Collection!  All items from that collection are now available in the shop as well!

Waving Hello
First up is this soft pastel seashell card made using quite a few of the new products.

She Sells Seashells Shell Parade Stencil Hook Line Sinker JenCarter

I started this card with the background.  I used the new Shell Parade Stencil and blender brushes to stencil the background.  I created an ombre like look by blending Mint to Be & Seafoam inks and then adding in just a touch of Aquatini ink at the bottom.  I stamped the shells with the new She Sells Seashells stamps and then die cut them with the coordinating She Sells Seashells dies.  I die cut the tag with the Tags, Etc dies and stamped the waves & sentiment from the new Hook, Line & Sinker stamps.

I added a little glitter on each of the sea shells with a glitter pen before adhering them to the card with foam tape.

By the Sea Thoughts & Prayers
One of my dreams is to one day go on a lighthouse tour. I am so fascinated by them. I'd love to go to Prince Edwards Island in Canada and see the lighthouses there! My grandma also loved lighthouses and now that she is no longer on this earth they are one of the things that I'd like to see to help me feel close to her.  So to say the least I really enjoyed playing with the new By the Sea stamps & diesThis set is available as a special to Stamp Nation Members.

By the Sea She Sells Seashells JenCarter

I stamped the lighthouse with the By the Sea stamps and colored with copics and then die cut with the coordinating By the Sea dies. For the background I used Black Jack ink and a wide brush water pen and made stripes. The clouds were die cut with the Love is in the Air dies, perfect for creating scenes like this one.  The sentiment is from the Faithful Flutterings stamp set.

For the waves I took a piece of the new Salt & Seawood Patterned Paper and cut out some of the waves.  I added it to the card with dimensional tape over the top of the lighthouse.

I used one of the stamps from the She Sells Seashells stamp set to create the light beams coming from the lighthouse and then used a glitter pen on top of the ink to add sparkle.
