Feel Better Card

Today I am sharing a card with you that I put a little different spin on.  I used the Just Wonderful Floral stamp set by Catherine Pooler Designs in two ways.

First up I started by stamping the Feel Better sentiment from the Forest Foliage stamp set repeatedly over Premium White Cardstock.  I then used the Just Wonderful Floral stamp and stamped the solid circles in Mardi Gras, Flirty Fuchsia, Orange Twist, Fiesta Blue & the new Lemongrass inks.  I die cut the panel down using one of the stitched dies from the Postage Stamps die set.  I stamped one of the largest blooms and a couple leaves, also with the Just Wonderful Floral stamp set and then die cut it with the coordinating Just Wonderful Floral dies.  I attached that to the card panel with dimensional tape.  

I wanted to try something different so I used a hole punch to notch a couple of 1/2 circles into the top and side of my card and wrapped black twine to the card front.  I used the notches to hold the twine in place (and added a small piece of tape on the back side of the card for additional support).  I attached the card panel to a piece of Midnight cardstock with dimensional tape and then added some Miami sequins to the panel to finish the card off.

I'm going to try a new feature on my blog.  I am ALWAYS look for new color combos to try and when I find one I like that I use on a card I want to share it with you in an easy to refer to format.  I may not always remember to do this but I'm going to try!
