Welcome to Day 3 of the blog hop featuring this fantastic collection of tropical goodies!
Do you want to hear some more good news? This collection features an add-on INK! Yes!! Coral Cabana ink! It's a gorgeous coral color and pairs nicely with Polished. This ink is not included in the box but it can be ordered with the box (or separately if you decide not to purchase the box at all). You will find that in the add-ons section along with some coordinating dies that you'll want to grab a hold of too!
What is Stamp of Approval?
If you are unsure what the Stamp of Approval Box is, it is a quarterly hand picked, exclusive collection of products that were designed just for the box. The stamps, dies and other fun products in the Stamp of Approval Collection won’t be released for individual sale for several months over at the Catherine Pooler store.
Be sure to subscribe to the Wait List so you will be emailed the purchase link when the collection goes on sale on July 18th! These boxes do sell out quickly so if you want I'd suggest getting it now or it may be gone!

A Tropical Party
I had so much fun playing with this collection! I don't know about you but I love to be able to use my supplies for multiple purposes. When I saw this set I thought a tropical party would be the perfect way to utilize these products!
I created this fun party supplies using products from the collection! Cupcake toppers, banners, signs, decorations for cups...they are all created using this SOA box!
Tropical Banner
I die cut the leaves, palm trees & flamingos from Leave Me in Paradise, Stand Tall, Tropically Yours & Fearless Pursuit dies. These are all available as add-ons to the collection on Wednesday, July 18th. It's hard to see but on some of the die cuts I stamped the coordinating images found in the SOA box collection in VersaMark ink. I strung the images on white twine and then draped it over my chalkboard.
Drink Decorations
I really love any kind of drinks in glass bottles for parties. For the drink in this tropical party I chose a milk bottle styled glass.
To decorate the top of the bottle, I die cut one of the flowers from the Tropically Yours add-on die set and stamped the flower with the Tropically Yours stamp set, included in the collection. I punched a hole in the center to insert the straw through it.
I also made cupcake picks with the collection. I again die cut the images with the dies mentioned above and attached them to the toothpicks to put on the cupcakes. I stamped the leaf from Leave Me in Paradise with VersaMark. It is such a simple thing to do and yet it adds so much to the decor.
Tropical Aloha Sign
For this sign I thought it would be fun to use the same elements I used in the banner. I again die cut using the dies mentioned above and then stamped the coordinating images from Leave Me in Paradise, Fearless Pursuit & Tropically Yours stamp sets. I stamped the sentiment repeatedly which is included in the Tropically Yours stamp set. Those colors are: Party Dress, Limoncello, Lime Rickey & Fiesta Blue.
Cabana Tile Dies
As I was typing this post up I realized I was a little heavy on the die focus today. This next card takes a turn from tropical and uses a die set included with the Tropically Yours collection.
I started by stamping the sentiment (don't you just love the mix of fonts in this set!) from the Fearless Pursuit stamp set in Black Jack ink. I then die cut several of the dies in the Cabana Tiles die collection from red, aqua and Smoke & Mirrors cardstock.
I stacked the hexagons around my sentiment and popped some of them up with dimensional tape. Here you can see better which pieces are popped up.

I really love any kind of drinks in glass bottles for parties. For the drink in this tropical party I chose a milk bottle styled glass.
I started by taking a piece of cardstock and cutting slits in it to represent a grass skirt and then wrapped it around the glass bottle. I die cut the flamingo with the Stand Tall add-on dies, the palm tree with the Fearless Pursuit add-on dies & the little flower from the Tropically Yours.
To decorate the top of the bottle, I die cut one of the flowers from the Tropically Yours add-on die set and stamped the flower with the Tropically Yours stamp set, included in the collection. I punched a hole in the center to insert the straw through it.
