Super Coffee
Coffee stamps seem to be all the rage right now and this new little coffee set doesn't disappoint. I mean who wouldn't love a super hero coffee fighting super hero?
Coffee stamps seem to be all the rage right now and this new little coffee set doesn't disappoint. I mean who wouldn't love a super hero coffee fighting super hero?
I stamped my super hero with the Super Coffee Die & Stamp Bundle and then paper pieced the various pieces. For those who don't like to color, this is a great (and easy!) option! I knew I'd want my super hero to be flying so I used the Cover Up Die: Stitched Clouds for the background. I stamped the sentiment, also from the bundle, in the top corner.
If you watched my video yesterday you already know how I created the skyline but if not you can see it here. I used the Cover Up Die: Perfectly Plaid and a sharp pair of scissors and snipped off pieces of the plaid to create the skyline. Then, I pieced in the lighter gray pieces to make the windows. I wanted a few windows to have the "lights on" to make it look like the caffeine was in overdrive so I pieced those windows with bright yellow cardstock. To make the "beam" I die cut one of the rays from the Wrappers Delight Sunburst die off and adhered it to my card front.

Thanks a Latte
For this card I used the Cover Up Die: Perfectly Plaid die for one layer on my card front. I like that this option exists and makes the die even more versatile. I cut out a little frame from the bottom of the card, also with sharp scissors, and then stamped a sentiment from a previously released set called Latte Love. The coffee mug, isn't it fun!, was die cut with the new Coffee Talk 2 dies. I used the heart steam pieces on both the mug and for the coffee steam.
