Summer 2016 Coffee Lovers Blog Hop

Today I am joining in on the Summer Coffee Lovers Blog Hop! I do enjoy a good cup of (very flavored!) coffee!  Yum!

For my card I went with summery colors but with a twist toward a masculine theme.

Jen Carter Summer Coffee Birthday 2

I started by die cutting my tag which is Lil' Inker Designs Dotted Tags.  I just love this tag set!  The details that those dots add, so pretty! I then die cut the coffee cup, lid & cozy with the Coffee Cozy Die set

I love that the coffee cozy stitches on the top & bottom!  It's all in the details!  The sentiment is from the Lil' Inker Design's Coffee Cozy Stamp Set.

I'm also entering this in the Tic-Tac-Toe Challenge #12.
I chose: Masculine, Jute/Natural Twine & Layered/Dimensional as my themes.

And in the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge to use Patterned Paper.

Thanks for stopping by today!  I hope you have a wonderful day!

  12. Wow! What a totally genius idea to combine a coffee theme with a masculine twist! I really love the colors you used and how the coffee sleeve has that great triangle texture. I also love the top of the coffee cup, too. Heck! I love this whole thing and really like your subtle details like how you offset the horizontal band with the vertical stripes. I feel thoroughly inspired now to see what themes I can try and put a masculine spin on! Thanks for thinking outside of the box and for sharing such a clever card with us for this week's Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge!
