In Love: Lil' Inker Designs January Release Day 1

Welcome to the January Release for Lil' Inker Designs!  The new products that the Design Team are featuring are already available in the store!  If you are following along in the blog hop you should have come from Erin Schreiner's blog and if you'd like to start at the beginning, visit Laura's blog! Jen Carter LID Stitched Love Tag Card wm

This first card is my favorite that I created with the new release products.  I LOVE the new Quilted Swirl Stitched Pattern die!  It makes such a beautiful and detailed pattern in the cardstock!  WOW!!

I die cut my tag with the Anytime Tags 2 die set and then used the new Doodled Love Word die to cut out the love in the patterned paper. I popped the patterned paper tag up on top of another die cut tag to give it some dimension. To finish it off I added a little silk ribbon.

Jen Carter LID Chevron Gold Love You WM

This last card features a fantastic new die called Cover Up Die: Center Point Chevron.  I used five different colors of neutral cardstock: rustic white, ivory, Kraft, linen and gold and pieced the chevrons in place.  I cut one of the Pinking Edge Sentiment Flag dies out of vellum and then embossed the sentiment from the cool new sentiment set, Smooches in white & gold.  I die cut the stitched Heart Banner from gold glitter cardstock.

    The gold on the hop is great.
    I love the background embossing on the first csrd. It's a plain and simple card but so pretty. The flowered tag really pops.

    Wow! Not sure which of those Love sentiment sets I like more...I love the poster look of "Love is in the Air" But the SWAK one is awesome,too. Great job showcasing these new LID goodies.

    Gorgeous cards! The swirl background against the pretty dsp tag are so pretty together. The paper pieced chevron is a real work of art! Both just beautiful!

    LOVE the ELEGANT designs!!!
    The floral tag looks BEAUTIFUL against the stitched swirls and the chevrons are WOW - LOVE that die, LOVE your inlaid panels, POP of gold and the DELICATE contrast with the vellum!!!
