You're My Favorite: Lil' Inker Designs Release Day 1

Hello!  It's time for another Lil' Inker Designs release!  Yea!!  All of the products being showcased are currently available in the Lil' Inker store already!  If you are following along in the blog hop you should have come from Heather Campbell's blog and if you'd like to start at the beginning, visit Laura's blog! There are three $15 gift certificates to the LID store up for grabs, so the more blogs you comment on, the better your chances are of winning!

Jen Carter My Favorite

I started with the new sentiment set called, "You're My Favorite".  This is a hand drawn set in trendy handwriting!  I can see so many uses for a sentiment like this!  I went with the watercolor craze for this card.  I chose some colors from my aquacolor crayons and after water coloring with them I embossed this great sentiment in black.  I wanted the inside to be bright and fun too, so when you open the card you find this:

...more water coloring and another fun sentiment!  This one is embossed on top of the new and WONDERFUL-GOT-TO-HAVE Quilted Stitched Pattern Die!  Oh my!  I think I will use this fabulous die A LOT!  I cut out my panel with the Stitched Mats: Rectangle die.

One more card to share today and we're going in a totally different direction now.

Jen Carter Smart Cookie

This card is made using the new "Smart Cookie" stamp set.  I stamped and embossed the cookie on patterned paper, cut him out and then adhered him to my Anytime Tag die cut.  I like how he/she looks stamped on patterned paper, kind of like a sprinkle cookie!

I stamped and cut out the little banner that is also included in the set and stamped the sentiment on the tag also.  This set also includes a graduation cap so you can use it for fun graduation cards!

Here are the new products that I've used:

Thanks for visiting! There's plenty more inspiration to see using these sets and we'll be showcasing projects through Friday!  Your next stop on the hop is over to Karen's blog!
