So, while safely inside my warm home, I pulled out my stamps, paper & felt to play along with this weeks Tuesday Morning Sketch #183 which is sponsored by Lil' Inker Designs.
This card is made for a coworkers 60th birthday. If we wanted to, we were to bring her something with flowers and I thought that making her a nice flowery card would be perfect. I hope she likes it!
The card is based on this sketch.
Since the contest is sponsored by Lil' Inker Designs I thought it was only appropriate to use lots of great LID products! The middle banner was cut with the large Flags & Tags die. The panel that the sentiment is stamped on is one of the Stitched Mats Square dies cut down to size. And those super cute flowers are made using the Fringe Flower Die which is perfect for all of those Spring cards! The paper is from Basic Grey in a wonderful paper pack called "Fiction" and the sentiment is from Paper Smooches "Word Salad" set.
And, just for the fun of it, I thought I'd show you how I packaged it since it obviously won't fit in a normal envelope! I put it in a glassine bag, closed it with washi tape, labeled her name with dies, added coordinating flowers that I die cut and then tied it with Gold Shimmer Twine from The Twinery.
If you'd like to play along, you have until Sunday, February 3rd at 7 PM CST to link up your card. There is a prize for a $10 gift card to the Lil' Inker store up for grabs through a random drawing! Hope you can play along!
Thank you SO MUCH for stopping by!
