Here is my version:
I used the PTI Simple Circles Border Die and cut out the shape from the front of a cardstock panel. Then, I layered patterned paper from Crate Paper, in a rainbow hue, underneath and pushed the two pieces of die cut cardstock together. Instead of giving me a circle shape, it made an oval shape which I thought was fun and unique.
I popped the entire panel up on pop dots for dimension.
I also used the Linen Impression plate on the panel for texture. LOVE this impression plate. I use it on almost every card! The sentiment is from last year's anniversary set, "Botanical Silhouettes".
