I am here today with a card for the latest Papertrey Paper Dolls Challenge. This challenge was to make a card using only scraps. I really need to do this more often! I have so many extra die shapes that I've cut and it can make putting a card together so much easier!
Every single one of these shapes (even the punched border AND the impressed aqua piece) were scraps left over from other projects! The notebook paper was already stamped! How fun to start combining the different elements to end up with this card!
Isn't this an unexpected color combo too? I'm not sure that I've ever used orange with aqua before!
We would love to have you participate in our challenge! Head on over to the Papertrey Paper Dolls blog and link up your creation using scraps!
Twinery Twine
Yellow Bazzill, Kraft, Aqua Mist, Raspberry Fizz, White Cardstocks
DCWV Glitter Paper
PTI Butterfly, Notebook Page, Doily & Banner Die
Fiskars Border Punch
Sunshine & Canvas Impression Plates
Love it! All the layers are just delicious, as is the cheery color combo!
ReplyDeleteThis is so bright and cheery Jen! I love the colors!
ReplyDeleteCan't believe this is all from scraps! I LOVE the color combo. The orange is really just perfect with aqua mist. The whole card works just like you started from scratch.
ReplyDeleteLove it all!
ReplyDeleteWould have never thought of the orange and aqua...
but it works!
And isn't it great knowing that the scrap pile is just a little thinner?
Now if I could just mine under control...
life would be good!
Great card! ;-D This makes me want to shuffle through all my own scraps and see what I can find.
ReplyDeleteYou sure make scraps look great!!! very bright & fun! :)
