I do not have a green thumb! I love this time of the year when all of the flowers are blooming but I like looking at other people's flowers as I just can't seem to keep mine alive. I am fortunate that the house we live in now, a previous resident took the time to plan out the landscaping so that there is something pretty blooming most of the months of the year (and I don't have to remember to water them!). I love being surprised at what pops up as each season changes!
This is a card I made a few months ago from PTI's "Green Thumb" set. It is about as close as I'll get to planting my own blooming flowers! :) It is another very simple card but I like it because it is simple.
Do you have a green thumb? What did you plant this year? Do you plant a garden or just flowers?
Thank you for visiting my blog today! I appreciate each and every one of you!
Supplies
PTI Green Thumb, Kraft, Ivory, Scarlet Cardstock, L'amore Red & Burnt Umber Ink, PTI Aqua Mist ink, EK Success Border Punch
Beautiful card. I love the simplicity too. I can't seem to keep plants alive either. I just visit my mother-in-law's beautiful garden when I need a fix!

Love the colors you used, makes me think of spring. I can't keep my flowers alive either so I don't even bother anymore. Thanks for sharing your beautiful card!
ReplyDeleteGreat card...love the pop of color! The only flowers I can get to look good are on paper and made from ink.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous, Jen! Love the CAS look. I like to think I have a green thumb :)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful card!! This is a great time of year to use this set.
ReplyDeleteSimply beautiful! Really like what you did with this set.
ReplyDeleteLove the card.
ReplyDeleteThis is soooooo pretty! Love, love, love the colors!
ReplyDeleteLove how you placed the flowers in the watering can. I love to garden so I am always buying floral stamp sets. I have had success with any flower that is hardy. Right now I have a patch of very fragrant hyacinths.
ReplyDeleteVery pretty card! I really like this color combo. I love digging around in my garden, though I tend to buy everything that looks pretty with no regard to how it will look in my landscape! Still, like you I enjoy watching new things appear as the seasons change.
ReplyDeleteThis is a lovely card! CAS and just right.
ReplyDeleteJen.....This card is adorable! I didn't know that Green Thumb had a "dandelion" image!! You've just enabled me.....hehe Love it!!
ReplyDeleteLove this watering can filled with flowers. Who cares if you can't grow flowers? You can sure stamp pretty ones!!!

ReplyDeleteWhat a great card, love it. And yes I garden. Vegetables and Preannuals.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous card!
ReplyDeleteVery Pretty Jen. I like the aqua and red together with kraft. Lucky for you the previous owners did all the work, right? *smile*
ReplyDeleteBoth my DH and I are gardeners at haeart, and he's also a landscaper, so we're set with multiple flower, herb, and vegetable beds, plus the orchard we're working on!
Very pretty Jen. I love the clean and simpleness of this card! The colors are great too!
ReplyDeleteThis is so beautiful! I love the whimsical feel of the flowers in that pot! I'm not familiar with this set, must go look :)
ReplyDeleteVery cute! This is one of my favorite PTI stamp sets. I love all the ways you can use it.
ReplyDeleteLOVE it!!
ReplyDeleteJust now noticed this card on your blog - I don't see that many cards made with the watering can - how pretty! I need to use mine!
