Fun Color Combination

I am so thrilled with how today's card turned out!  I just am in LOVE with this color combination.  It was inspired by this new paper line that PTI will be releasing March 15th.  I was just so taken back by the colors in the papers that I wanted to duplicate that in my card.

I created the background using a fun build-your-own background stamp set "Guide Lines II".  LOVE all the options in this set!

In the above photo, you can see the details a little more closely. On the aqua shapes I stamp a green center using the smallest polka dot from "Polka Dot Basics" to add just a little bit more green to the paper.  I also die cut a Nestabilities Labels 4 shape, cut it in half, stamped my sentiment on it and then adhered.  And, isn't that ribbon a perfect match for the New Leaf paper?  I found that at the last minute at a Michael's trip!  Score!

Thank you SO much for stopping by today!  I hope you have a great weekend!  We will be celebrating my baby's 2nd birthday tomorrow with family.  Hard to believe she could be 2 already!

Supplies

Ink:  Giverny Green Palette, Turquoise Gem VersaMagic, PTI Aqua Mist Hybrid
Paper:  PTI New Leaf & Aqua Mist, White, PTI Guide Lines II Cardstock

  17. Wow! That background is just fantastic! I've got to admit, the new patterned paper is not on my shopping list - just a bit too busy for my taste. But you've made the same color combo nice and soothing. Great spring project!
