First Fish Layout

Here's a scrapbook page that I just finished today.

I love TAC's Hip Hop paper! It is just perfect for boy's pages and if you cut it up and use just bits and pieces here and there, it doesn't overwhelm the page.

See the swirls on the orange paper? I used my Sizzix machine with a Cuttlebug emobossing folder to emboss the swirl. Then, I took my TAC sanding block and sanded it a little to reveal the white core of the paper. I love the effect!

I used VersaMark ink to stamp the fishing poles and it adds just a slight touch to the finished layout...again, without overwhelming the page. The arrows were made by tracing the shape onto the Hip Hop paper and then cutting it out and gluing it to some chipboard shapes from Hobby Lobby.

Supplies:
Paper: Bazzill (blue), TAC Orange DCWV, TAC Hip Hop (patterned), TAC Kraft
Ink: TAC Palette Jardin Moss, TAC Palette Prussian Blue. VersaMark
Stamps: TAC Simple-Bet Alphabet, TAC Camping LE (full-sized set is on page 87 of current catalogue), TAC Chunky Bet Uppers Alphabet (retired)

I love these layouts. I really like how you used these colors. I am going to have to scraplift to make my sons layouts later this week.
