Christmas & Winter with Lil' Inker Designs October Release: Day 2 + Giveaway

Welcome to day 2 of the Lil' Inker Designs Release! All of the products being shown today are currently available in the Lil' Inker Designs store! Thank you for joining me today!

Merry Christmas Ornament

I LOVED playing with this new Merry Ornament stamp set! It is my favorite from this release. There are so many mix & match options and ways that you can use this set that it just makes it fun!

I started this card by die cutting the circle out of the card front with the Stitched Mats: Dual Stitched Circle dies. I wanted the circle to be both on the ornament and make a frame for the ornament to sit in. I stamped the ornament from Merry Ornament stamp set first with Aquatini ink and then I stamped the shadow with black ink. I really like that that part of the ornament is in two different pieces! I then put VersaMark ink over the entire ornament and poured Wow! Clear Hologram Sparkle Embossing Glitter over it and embossed. I love how it catches the light and changes colors depending on how the light hits the card. I next stamped all of the little extras including the ornament hanger top and string along with the little flourishes.

At the bottom of the card I added a little piece of striped black & white paper to help the card really pop.

All Warm & Cozy
There's another new die & stamp set that I wanted to share a card from today that was also a lot of fun to play with. Introducing the Mitten Shaker die set & Ready, Set, Snow stamps.

Jen Carter Ready Set Snow Mitten Shaker Die 2 wm

I wanted to make a very colorful mitten and so I used strips of paper to make a rainbow and then die cut that out for my mitten pieces which are from the Mitten Shaker die set. I die cut the largest mitten 3 times: once for the back of the mitten, once for the front of the mitten with the smallest piece die cut out of the middle and once out of acetate. I also die cut a little pattern from the die set onto the bottom of the glove. I really like that extra detail. I added some sequins inside before I pieced it all together.

I used super fine embossing powder for my snowflakes & the sentiment which are from the Ready, Set, Snow stamps.

Christmas Greetings with Lil' Inker Designs October Release: Day 1

Hello and welcome to the October Lil' Inker Designs release! The new products are already available in the Lil' Inker Designs store so you can start shopping now! For this release we have a little bit Fall & a little bit Christmas and even a little mix of Winter! There are lots of cute products that I think you'll enjoy!

A Christmas Trio

I have a set of cards I made today showing 2 different ways to use the new Classic Christmas stamp set paired with some new word dies. One card has more detail but the other two were super quick & simple to whip together! If you need an idea for a quick and easy card to mass produce for Christmas look no further!

For this trio you can see that on two of the cards I used the gorgeous poinsettia image from Classic Christmas stamped in black with a glittered sentiment on top of it. And then I have one other card using the same layout that I colored the image in on. I stamped all three cards at the same time using my Misti so it was super quick & simple to stamp, ink up, stamp, ink up & stamp again!

Jen Carter Class Christmas Peace on Earth 1 wm

For this card I stamped the poinsettia spray image from the Classic Christmas stamp set twice. I stamped it first in the bottom corner, then I rotated the image and stamped it again in the top corner. It lined up perfectly! For the sentiment, don't you just LOVE that font, I die cut the new Peace on Earth Word die from red glitter paper and then attached. That's it!

Jen Carter Classic Christmas Season's Greetings 1 wm

For this card I got a little more detailed. I stamped the image again using my Misti and then used inks & a water brush pen to color the images directly onto kraft cardstock. I then die cut the Season's Greetings Word die and attached the black sentiment with adhesive.

Jen Carter Classic Christmas Happy Holidays 1 wm

This card is much like the first. I just used a different color of glitter paper and the Happy Holidays Word die sentiment. Another quick, simple and easy to reproduce card! A dark green glittered paper would be pretty for the sentiment too!
