Jen Carter Diagonal Plaid Rustic Christmas Stitched Chevron Border WM

Isn't that background awesome? You can make so many different color combinations with it! That's made with the Diagonal Plaid Cover Up die. I paired it with the Rustic Christmas stamp & die set which is another favorite of mine. I colored the bear with copics and stamped the trees. The sentiment, from Reap a Harvest, is stamped on the Stitched Mini Chevron Border die.

New Wold Card Making Day Release at Catherine Pooler Designs

Hello friends!! World Card Making Day which is coming up this weekend, Saturday, October 6th. In honor of this day, Catherine Pooler Designs is releasing a very special & beautiful stamp & die set that celebrates the world, stamping & World Card Making Day.

This stamp & die set is called Amber's World and has a very special story that goes along with it. Amber Shaw was a new illustrator working with Catherine Pooler this past Spring. Right after designing this stamp set, she sadly passed away in a house fire along with her husband and youngest son. So along with the release of these products there is a fundraiser for her surviving children. Two dollars from the sale of each stamp set during the month of October will go to Go Fund Me for her surviving Children.

You Are My World

Isn't this globe image lovely? For this card I stamped the globe & sentiment with the Amber's World stamp set. I then die cut the globe with the coordinating dies. I watercolored the image with a water pen & All the Jazz, Flirty Fuchsia, Lime Rickey, Sauna & Mint to Be Inks. The Mint to Be ink is what I used for the "water". I mounted the globe onto a piece of Smoke & Mirrors cardstock that was diecut with the Postage Stamp dies with foam tape. The entire panel is mounted on a piece of White Premium cardstock.

Here's a closeup of the image. If you look closely you can see that I used a Nuvo Aqua Shimmer pen to add some glitter on top of the flowers. It's very hard to pick up in a photo.

Remember, that during the month of October, $2 from the sale of every Amber's World stamp and die set will go to Amber's children.
