Catherine Pooler's New Stamp Release & Back to Basics Sale

Catherine Pooler Designs is hosting a Back to Basics event starting TODAY - August 30th to celebrate the 2018 school year! Sparkling Happy Birthday
The new For Everything stamp set has so many fun, versatile pieces in it!  I loved putting them to use on this bright, happy, sparkling card!

I decided I wanted to go rainbow using the tiny hexagon strips.  I stamped each row using Orange Twist, Be Mine, Flirty Fucshia, All that Jazz, Lime Rickey & Limoncello (ink colors linked below). I also stamped the stripes with a stamp from the set in All that Jazz.

I stamped the "happy circle" from the new Spot On stamp set with Flirty Fuchsia ink and then covered the entire circle with VersaMark ink and then embossed it with my favorite embossing powder, Wanderlust.  I LOVE how glittery it makes the circle! I then stamped the party hat from the same set and attached a pom pom to the top of it.  I stamped "birthday" on a piece of white cardstock and attached it to the circle with foam tape.  To finish the card off I stamped a few of the individual hexagons along the side of the card.

Hello Autumn Gold Embossed

I LOVE the new Hello Autumn stamp set from Catherine Pooler and can't quit playing with it!  For this card I used lots of fun, bright colors for the leaves and added in some gorgeous gold embossing to make it sparkle & shine!  I stamped the Angled Squares Background stamp with All that Jazz ink.  LOVE how that looks!  I die cut the tag from the Lovely Flowers & Banners die set and then stamped the sentiment from the Kind of Wonderful stamp set and embossed it with Zing Glitter Gold embossing powder.

These leaves from the Hello Autumn stamp set are really simple to stamp & layer.  You can check out my video tutorial if you are wondering how to line them up.  The color combos I used are (individually linked in shopping list):  

Purple: Sweet Sixteen, Pixie Dust, Royal Treatment & Black Jack
Yellow: Shea Butter, Tiara, Sauna & Gold Embossing Pwd
Red/Coral: Polished, Coral Cabana, Rockin' Red & Black Jack
Pink: It's a Girl (stamped off once), It's a Girl (full strength), Rose Petals & Gold Embossing Pwd
Green: Melon Ice, Green Tea, Eucalyptus & Black Jack
Turquoise: It's a Boy, All that Jazz, Daydream & Gold Embossing Pwd
