Sunny with a Side of Sparkle New Catherine Pooler Release TODAY

Welcome to release day for Catherine Pooler's Sunny with a Side of Sparkle product line!  

Products are NOW AVAILABLE for purchase in the Catherine Pooler store!  Today we are releasing new stamp sets, new die sets, a fun new stencil and the much anticipated Love is in the Air products from a previous Stamp of Approval Collection and a new pack of patterned paper that coordinates with products from the Perfect Reason Stamp of Approval products as well!  There's LOTS of new products that I think you'll love!

Say it in Diamonds
This first card features a stamp set that is my favorite from the release called Say it in Diamonds!  The possibilities on how and where to arrange the diamonds in this stamp set make for unlimited possibilities!  For this first card I used only two of the images from the set with a rainbow of color.

To put this card together I first chose the sentiment and stamped it in the top middle center of my card panel.  That sentiment served as my guide on where to stamp the rainbow of images on my card. The colors I chose for my card are: Be Mine, Orange Twist, Limoncello, Lime Rickey, Fiesta Blue & the lovely Grape Crush. To keep the images lined up I started by stamping the images directly surrounding the sentiment and then went out from there.  When I was completely finished stamping the panel, I then used my all time favorite die set 💖from Catherine Pooler called Postage Stamp Dies to cut out the outside postage frame panel.  Then, I used one of the nesting stitched rectangle dies also included in the set to die cut the main image panel which I popped up with dimensional tape.  I stamped the sentiment a second time on white cardstock and then embossed it with Wanderlust Embossing Powder (GET THIS!!!) 💙which adds a beautiful glitter to the sentiment.  I used my paper trimmer to cut it in the diamond shape and attached it with dimensional tape. 

Wish Upon a Star
This next card features several other new products including the Starlights Stamp Set, Star Word die and the SOA Postage Stamp dies.  I chose a unique color combination for this card as well.

The colors I used for this card are Juniper Mist, Mandarin Spice, It's a Girl, Sauna & It's a Boy.  I stamped a pattern with the Starlights Stamp Set and inserted little filler stars between the larger stars.  For the edge of the card I used a piece of black & white striped paper from the Black Tie Gala paper pad.

For the sentiment, I diecut the Star Word die from yellow cardstock, dipped it in VersaMark ink and then embossed it with Wanderlust Embossing Powder (remember how I told you earlier you need this powder...). 😄  I stamped the sentiment on a piece of rustic cream cardstock that I had diecut with the Postage Stamp Dies.  Here's a little video that shows how I did that.

I really like the Postage Stamp Dies because they are unique and provide lots of layering possibilities.  I love having these in my collection and reach for them often!  I love that I can make custom sized sentiment or image panels easily using this die set!  In my opinion it is a must have!

Lil' Inker Designs June Release: Day 3

Welcome back to the last day of the Lil' Inker Designs release!  All of the products are currently available in the Lil' Inker Designs store, so you can start shopping now! :)  

Today I have a little baby project and a little coffee card to share.  If you're a mom or dad to an infant you know how important that coffee is in the morning! :)

Little Peanut Onesie Tag

You know it's kind of funny really.  I spent a good amount of time picking out the onesies for this project, getting the right colors and of course the cutest design and what do I do?  I roll them up!  You can't even see how cute they are on the inside!  Oh well, I guess I'll leave that for the recipient!  😁

This tag was simple to put together.  I first die cut the cute Baby Onesie Shaker die twice out of patterned paper and once from acetate.  On the patterned paper piece that goes on front, I used the smaller onesie in the set to diecut the center out.  (By the way, did you know that that tiny onesie has a score line that cuts into it so you can fold it to make a diaper too?  So cute!)  I embossed the sentiment, Little Peanut, from the Little One stamp set onto the acetate.   I die cut the cute baby word from the new Baby Words Tags die set and attached it to the top of my tag.  It's a cute and easy way to decorate up a gift!

I'll have a White Peppermint Mocha To Go Please!
That's my drink of choice and what I order almost every time I get coffee!  I love the size of the new To Go Coffee Cup Gift Card Holder die. And, like the name implies, a gift card fits right inside perfectly!  The finished size of the coffee cup folded up (like shown below) is 5" x 3".

For the coffee cup for today's post I wanted to go cute & simple.  I didn't even add a sentiment on the outside and instead of super bright like my previous project, I kept this one more coffee-colored featuring warmer colors.   I die cut the To Go Coffee Cup Gift Card Holder die out of patterned paper and chose a coordinating patterned paper for the wrap.  I love that the wrap fits around the die cut cup perfectly!

When you take the wrap off and open it up you see this.  I stamped the sentiment from the new Coffee Talk 2 stamp set in Spruce ink.  When you take the gift card holder out from under the tabs it reveals the sentiment.
