Lil' Inker Designs March Release: Day 3

Welcome back to the last day of the Lil' Inker Designs release!  All of the products are currently available in the Lil' Inker Designs store, so you can start shopping now! :)

Ouch! That's Rough!
A little over two years ago Lil' Inker Designs released a cute stamp set called So Prickly.  Today we are bringing you So Prickly Cactus dies that coordinate perfectly with the stamp set but work well by themselves too.

Jen Carter So Prickly Stamps Dies Cactus wm

I started by die cutting a piece of white cardstock with one of the Stitched Mats: Side Stitched Rectangles dies and then trimmed off the side so it was the size I needed for my cacti.  I then chose a patterned paper for my cacti pots that I had die cut with the So Prickly Cactus dies and added a piece of light orange cardstock to the tops for some contrast. I die cut the cacti and the blooms and then attached the assembled images to my panel.  I die cut the background patterned paper card panel with the largest Stitched Mats: Rectangles die.  The sentiment was stamped using the coordinating So Prickly stamp set.

So Very Kind
For this last card I am sharing another new die set that is also part of a series.  This one is called So Very Kind Greeting die.

Jen Carter So Very Kind Greeting Encouraging Words wm

I die cut the So Very Kind Greeting die out of a piece of Dip Dyed Ombre Paper and then backed it with a piece of white glitter paper to add some shine.

I die cut and watercolored one of the flowers in the Encouraging Words stamp set and adhered it to the corner of the card.  The nice thing about the So Very Kind Greeting die is that you can make quick and simple cards!

Lil' Inker Designs March Release: Day 2

Welcome to day 2 of the Lil' Inker Designs Release!  All of the products being shown today are currently available in the Lil' Inker Designs store!

Today I have two more spring cards to share with you.

Bouquet of Roses
This new Bouquet of Roses stamp set is so gorgeous and for this card I decided to try a technique that I haven't done for a while!

Jen Carter Bouquet of Roses Cover Up Eyelet wm

For this card I first took a piece of light purple cardstock and die cut it with the Stitched Mats: Side Stitched Rectangles die.  I then took the large image from the Bouquet of Roses stamp set and embossed it in white on my panel.  I then colored the image with my copics.  I love the way this turned out!  I added the little tag and sentiment to the tag (lots of options on how to do this!) using the extra stamps in the set.  For the background of my card I die cut the gorgeous Cover Up Die: Eyelet on white cardstock and then backed it with a piece of purple ombre paper from the Dip Dyed Ombre Paper Pad.

Some Bunny Loves You
My second card today combines two new die sets and a new stamp set as well.

Jen Carter Easter Egg Pop Up Happy Bunny Border Stamps  wm

I started by die cutting that fun egg background with the new Cover Up Die: Easter Egg Pop Up.  I then created a mask by die cutting the background a second time with thin typing paper.  I cut one of the eggs out and then used it as a mask as I stamped the images on each egg using the Unstoppable Stamps using Catherine Pooler inks.

Next, I die cut the adorable bunny border with the new Happy Bunny Border die (there are two dies that you can overlay for more bunnies!) from white cardstock and then stamped the images on the bunnies & the sentiment using the coordinating Happy Bunny stamp set.  I added glasses & a bow tie with dies from the Happy Bunny Border die set.  I just LOVE those little tiny details!

I'm going to enter this card in the Simon Monday Challenge to create a Spring card.

Lil' Inker Designs March Release: Day 1

Hello and welcome to the March Lil' Inker Designs release! The new products are already available in the Lil' Inker Designs store so you can start shopping now Yay!

Hop Hop Hooray!
I had a lot of fun playing with the new Peek-a-boo Bunny die set!  This die set is adorable!

Jen Carter Peek-a-boo Bunny Happy Bunny Mini Bow Hanging Standing 5 wm

For this card I wanted my bunny to truly be playing peek-a-boo and what better way than by peeking in from above!?  I die cut the Peek-a-boo Bunny die set in neutral white for the body of the bunny but then couldn't help but make the cheeks & ear pieces patterned.

Jen Carter Peek-a-boo Bunny Happy Bunny Mini Bow Hanging CLoseup

I also used the Mini Bow Die for a hair bow.  For the background panel I used the Silly Stitched Die to stitch a border.  The sentiment was stamped with a new stamp set called Happy Bunny stamp set.

Easter Parade
My second card today features a totally adorable set! If you love bunnies and love to color than you need this set called Easter Parade! 😉

Jen Carter Easter Parade Small Sun Border Builder Clouds wm

I started by die cutting my images with the Easter Parade die set and then stamping with the Easter Parade stamp set.  I colored the images with copics.  Aren't they so cute!  I love that this set can be used for Easter, Spring or even general themes such as birthdays!  I took a thick piece of watercolor paper and made a stencil using the cloud border from the Border Builder die set. To create the background I used Broken China distress oxide ink and then just moved the stencil up on the white cardstock as I sponged the ink around.  It worked really well!   I used the same die to cut the grassy hill.  I placed the sunshine in the top corner that I die cut using the Sunshine Die: Small and added a sequin in the center.  The entire panel was die cut with the Stitched Mats: Dual Stitched Rectangles die.

Carrot Treat Box
Last but not least is this cute carrot treat box made using the new Carrot Treat Holder die & the Charm Tags die set.

Jen Carter Carrot Treat CharmTags wm

I die cut the  Carrot Treat Holder die twice and then adhered both pieces together with scor-tape.  I tied the ends together with a bow and attached a tag that I had made using the new Charm Tags die set.  For the center of the tag I stamped a sentiment from the Bunny Hugger Die & Stamp Bundle and attached it with twine.

Winnie & Walter Wrap Up & Giveaway

Jen Carter Winnie Walter Faith Believe Miracles Debra's Poinsettia Winter Wishes Stripes

Hello friends!  I wanted to share one more Winnie & Walter card that I made for the February Leading Lady posts that I haven't shared yet and then get to what you've been waiting for: the winner of the $30 gift card to the Winnie & Walter store!

For this card I used the Scenery: Stripes stamps to create my background.  I used lots of bright Catherine Pooler inks for the rainbow of colors: Flirty Fucshia, It's a Girl, Party Dress, Rockin' Red, Tutti Frutti, Orange Twist, Sauna, Something Borrowed, Aquatini & Garden Party. Once the background was finished, I used the little cross like images from the Winter Wishes with Evelin T Designs stamp set to make a little random pattern.  The sentiment is from the In Bloom: Debra's Poinsettia with Lydia Evans stamp set.

Winner! Winner!
Thank you to everyone who left comments on my blog during the four weeks of being the Leading Lady on the Winnie & Walter blog!  Your comments meant a lot to me!  Thank you again to Shay for the opportunity and for providing this gift certificate to one lucky winner!
