You are Such a Joy

Hello! This is my second post for today so I'll keep this very short!  Please scroll down to see my previous post!

I am back with another Verve Sketch for World Cardmaking Day!  This is sketch #5 and for this one I turned the sketch on its side!

Here's my card!

I love these colors together!  This is paper by Cosmo Cricket called DeLovely.  The patterns are so fun!

The frame I used on this image was a free stamp from Verve when I placed a qualifying order.  Isn't it fun too?  The sentiment is also from Verve.  Love, love the fonts in this set!

Thanks for stopping by (twice) today!!

Hello From the Heart

Hi everyone!  How are you all doing?

I have another card to share with you today using another of Verve's World Card Making Day sketches! I love their sketches!  They have a new one each week but for this special day they had 5 that you could choose from and I like them all!  This one is based on sketch #3.  I love Verve's stamps and wasn't thinking when I created this card...I didn't add in any Verve stamps!  Oops!!  If you've never checked out their stamps, you have got to take a look at their store!

I thought it would be fun to use the wreath from PTI's "Wreath for All Seasons" on this sketch.  Instead of using the traditional berries, I found that a heart fit perfectly in the "holes"!  It added a fun little twist to the wreath.  Wonder what else might fit in that space too!?

Here you can see a little better that where the single "holes" for the berries were, I added pearls.  I love the little dimension it gives!

Thanks for stopping by today!  If you'd like to play along with the Verve sketches, you have until Friday to add your creations to their site by clicking on the link above!  They are super fun and addicting so watch out!!

Fall Strawberries!

Wee Memories has a super fun challenge this week to use fruit on a card and I just couldn't resist pulling out my favorite strawberry stamps!   Yeah, I know, a strawberry card in Fall...kind of strange!  LOL!!

Here is my card:

You have to admit, strawberries are really good ANY time of the year, right?

I wanted some colored twine to tie through the button holes but nothing that I had on hand really looked right.  So, I took plain twine and used my Palette Chartreuse ink pad to color it.  I think it adds a fun pop of color.

Thanks for stopping by today!  I hope you have a wonderful day!

Supplies (all PTI unless noted)
Stamps: Green Thumb, Polka Dot Basics, Fillable Frames, Verve Kinds Words
Paper: Hibiscus Burst, Simply Chartreuse, Harvest Gold, Rustic White

Here for You

Hey everyone!  I wanted to pop in real quick and share a card with you that I made this week using one of my favorite color combinations (although it has been a REALLY long time since I've used this color combo...sad!!).

What inspired me to make this card was the color combination this week for the Off the Wall Craftiness Challenge #27.   Here is the inspiration photo & color combination:

Aren't those colors so pretty together?!  I LOVE them!!  I know you can't see this in the photos, but I used a Spica Clear Glitter Pen on some of the berries on the wreath.

This card is also based on a sketch for 2 Sketches 4 You

I turned the sketch on its side to create the card.

Thank you so much for stopping by my blog today!  All of your comments always mean a lot to me!  I hope you are all blessed with a very special weekend!
