In Bloom Mojo147

Hi everyone!! I finally have another card to share with you today!  This is a different color combination for me, almost a little vintagey but I first colored my image and then started pairing colors with it and this is what I ended up with.  It is based on Mojo Monday Sketch 147.

Here's the sketch I used.  You can find a link and how to participate by clicking here.

I used my copics to color in the flower.  Still practicing with those but I'm starting to get it a little better I think...still miles to go though!

Thanks for stopping by!!  Don't forget to enter my giveaway for a button ring if you haven't already done so!  I'll draw a winner from all the entries tomorrow (Thursday, July 14th).

Supplies (all PTI unless noted)
Stamps: In Bloom, Green Thumb, Text Style
Paper: Ripe Avocado, Rustic White, White, Kraft, Library Ledger Patterned Paper
Ink: Landscape & Moulin Rouge Palette Ink, Tea Dye Duo, Memento Black

Papertrey Paper Dolls Challenge #10, 11 & 12

Don't forget about my giveaway which you can enter to win here (in case the link doesn't work, it is in the post right before this one).  I'll draw a winner on Thursday, July 15th!

I am behind on my Papertrey Paper Dolls Challenges so this week I rolled the last 3 challenges into one card!  This cards is for Amy's Sketch (posted below),  Anika's challenge to make a non-standard sized card & Lisa's challenge to make a card based on the inspiration piece and/or a card with flowers (I chose to use both).   Whew!!  Still following?

Below is the sketch that this card is based off of.  I turned it into a square card measuring 5x5 (for Anika's challenge) and next to the sketch is Lisa's inspiration card that I took the colors from.

You can see in the closeup below that I added glitter to the flower center and to the Hawaiian Shores strip.  The glitter on the flower looks kind of clumpy in the photo but really nice in real life.  I colored the flower with copics.  I'm still practicing with those!  It is outlined with a tombow marker.

We would love for you to play along with the Papertrey Paper Dolls challenges! You don't even have to use PTI stamps.  Just click on the links above for each specific challenge.  You have 3 weeks to play along and you can link your card at the bottom of each post.

Thanks for stopping by!!  Have a great day!

Etsy Shop Now Open

I have been working this week to open an Etsy shop.  I don't have it "full" yet, but there are several of my button rings and a few cards available for purchase there!  You can visit my store, Jen's Ink Spot (by JenniferDCarter) by clicking here

I've made a few new rings that I wanted to share with you real quick.

First, these are soooo cute!! My daughter who is 2 years old, gets so excited when she sees me playing with my buttons.  She runs over and says that she wants to help Momma.  So, today I decided she needed a ring.

Isn't that so cute?  It's a size 1!  Too adorable!  We went to the post office not long after I made this for her and she told the postal clerk "Momma made me new ring."  It was so sweet! Just melted my heart.  She was so proud!

Those can be purchased in my Etsy shop here

And, here are a few other rings that I added to my shop:

This one is such a gorgeous purple marble!  Love it!!

And, this one is one that goes with almost anything!  Just a nice, neutral ring with a dark brown wire.

All of these rings can be purchased through my Etsy shop, Jen's Ink Spot.  I'd love if you took a look!  Let me know if you have any questions!!  And, for those of you who are here to see a card and not a ring, I promise I'll post a new card very soon! Thanks for stopping by!!  I'd love to hear what you think!
