Emboss Resist

For today's PTI contest, you were suppose to make an emboss resist card.  Here's my card.  I'm not liking it and almost didn't post it, but I wanted to enter the contest.  :)

Like I said, not my favorite...not my typical...but at least I tried! :)  IF I try this again and the result is better, I'll upload again later.

Little Sweet Pea

My mom needed a card for a baby shower she was going to and so I came up with this for her.  I LOVE it.  Those colors...yum!!  That little pea pod...so CUTE!

I wanted to decorate the inside of the card also.  So far in my stamp collection, I only have one baby sentiment to fit inside (yes, the new PTI "Inside & Out Baby" is on my wish list!). 

Speaking of wish lists...the stamp set that that pea pod is in is also on my wish list! I stamped off some images from Amy's set (Thanks Amy!!) that she brought with her to our "Stamping Away" weekend.  I have to have this set! :)  It is called "Baby Button Bits" from PTI but many of the images can be used for other occassions as well.

Stamping Away Weekend

This past weekend, I got together with my stamping friends Amy, Barb, Brenda & Laurie.  We had a blast!

We each had a project to share on Saturday and I wanted to show you what we each made.

Papertrey's Anniversary Celebration

Papertrey Ink is celebrating their 3rd anniversary with a little party!  Today, each of the stamp designers had a birthday themed digital image on their blogs and to be entered into the prize giveaway, you were asked to make a card (or nine) out of one of the digital images.  I chose to make one card and this is the card that came about.  This image is by Melissa Bickford and it is the first time I've ever used a digital stamp.
