Tags in 10 Minutes or Less Blog Hop

Welcome to another TAC blog hop. I have some super simple tags for you today! These can be made in 5 minutes or less.

I stuck with very traditional Christmas colors for these. I ran the white piece through my Big Shot to emboss it with dots. Then I stamped the ornament, cut it out, adhered it with pop dots and then put the button on top of it. Super simple!

For this one I used a darker green Bazzill for the base. I stamped the same ornament on a white piece of cardstock and THEN ran it through the Big Shot to give it the texture and then added the button. Again, easy peasy!

This last one is my favorite and I didn't put a ribbon through it because I thought that it would be super cute either attached to a gift bag OR as an accent on a card. Any of these could be placed as a focal point on a card too.

I stamped Victorian Elements with Lamore Red ink, then stamped scripted background with Cognac ink. I sponged Jardin Moss ink around the edges of the piece, stamped Joy from "Holiday Cheer" and then adhered to the scalloped square. Elegant and SUPER simple!

Loads of Love

Here is a fun card that I made for a recent Funshop.  I used lots of different elements so that I could demonstrate different tools/techniques to the guests.  Here's what I showed them:

1.  How Versamark ink creates a watermark effect when stamped on Bazzill cardstock (and I also showed how to stamp it on white-core paper and sand to create a similar look)
2.  How to color with aquacolor crayons and a dove blender.
3.  How to use the Big Bite to set an eyelet in the middle of your card.
4.  How to use a scor-pal to score a line on the card.
5.  How to use a scor-bug to emboss dots on your card.
6.  How to outline with a grey tombow marker.
7.  How to use Cloud scissors to make a decorative edge.
8.  How adding ribbon to a card really "ties" it all together! :)

Here's a closeup of the eyelet in the card.  I think it is a fun element to place an eyelet through the layers and then tie the ribbon through that.

Supplies:
Paper:  Kraft & Ultrasmooth White Cardstock, Pink & Blue Bazzill
Stamps:  TAC Skinny Birds & Curls & Swirls
Inks:  VersaMark, Burnt Umber

Why Did I Wait?

The card that I'm sharing today is not from a new stamp set.  I think it is over a year old now.  But, I just purchased it recently.  Why in the world did I wait?  Everything about this set encompasses what I like...clean lines, a little whimsy, words that I like with a sophisticated font.

So, here's the card I made with it for my mom's birthday which is tomorrow.

I love this color combination too!  It's TAC brown, Bazzill cardstock that matches the Boudoir Blush Palette ink & lime green.  So pretty!!

Here's a view so that you can see the dimension:

Isn't that ribbon pretty?  It matches the cardstock perfectly!  Love, love, love it!!

Happy birthday Mom!

Supplies:
Stamps:  Build-a-Flower, Sending-a-latte
Paper:  TAC Brown, Ivory, Coral & Green Bazzill
