A Cup of Hugs with Lil' Inker Designs December Release + Giveaway

A Cup of Hugs
Today I'm sharing one last new release product that I haven't shared yet, the Hugs Word die set.

I started with the background.  I used the stripes in the Cozy Plaid stamp set (includes the buffalo plaid background stamp in it) to create the stripes on pink cardstock.  I stamped them with VersaMark ink.  I then created a frame for the mug with one of the Stitched Mats: Rectangles dies.  I die cut the mug & steam with Coffee Talk 2 dies.  I stamped the cute fawn with the Comfy Cocoa stamp set and added the peppermint that was also stamped from the same stamp set and die cut with the Comfy Cocoa dies.  Isn't that deer so adorable???  Love it!  The hugs was die cut with the Hugs Word die set and then I stamped the green hugs on top and added the sentiment from the Cozy Plaid stamp set.

Here's a closeup of some of the card elements.  I added some glitter with a glitter pen to the peppermint and the heart steam.

Penguin Snowball Fight with Lil' Inker Designs December Release + Giveaway

Welcome to day 2 of the Lil' Inker Designs Release!  All of the products being shown today are currently available in the Lil' Inker Designs store!  Thank you for joining me today!

Penguin Snowball Fight
Whose ready for some super duper cute penguins and some more buffalo plaid? :)

The new Good Cheer Stamps & Good Cheer dies and so adorable!  I had a lot of fun putting this card together and copic coloring those adorable penguins!   For the black on the penguins I used a black Micron pen but everything else was colored with copics.  I went over the snowballs with a glitter pen too.  

The mountain of snow was die cut out of white glitter paper with the Border Builder die set which I reach for often.  Aren't those penguins so cute!?

For the background I used the Cover Up Die Buffalo Plaid which is sure to be a winner!  I went with non-traditional colors of pink & gray for the pattern.  The stitched clouds were die cut with the Rainbows & Clouds die set and then the sentiment with the fun font is from the Good Cheer stamp set.

Catherine Pooler Winter Release + Giveaway!

Snowflake Joy

I mentioned yesterday on my blog post that I love using non-traditional colors on Snowflake cards.  Yes, I did the same thing today!

I started by die cutting the Geometric Flakes Cover Plate out of white cardstock.   I attached it to a white cardstock base.  

The large snowflake was die cut with the beautiful Delicate Snowflake die.  I blended Flirty Fuchsia & All that Jazz ink onto Premium White Cardstock with a foam blender to color the snowflake.  I took a piece of vellum, cut down to size, and stamped the gorgeous "Joy" sentiment from the Peaceful Flakes stamp set first dipped into VersaMark ink and then stamped in Flirty Fuchsia ink.  The VersaMark keeps the ink wet longer so it is even easier to emboss with.  I then embossed the "Joy" with Wanderlust Embossing Powder.

Love You

For this last card I went with a different color scheme based on one of the patterned papers in the new Smitten Patterned Paper pack.

For this card I first made my frame.  I used the scalloped border in the Tags, Etc die set to cut the patterned paper from the Smitten Patterned Paper pack.  I also cut the frame with one of the stitched rectangles in the Postage Stamps die set. I stamped the fun floating hearts image from the Say it With Love stamp set in Peppermint Scrub, Rose Petals & Juniper Mist. 

The sentiment (isn't that a fun font?) is also stamped with Juniper Mist and then embossed with Wanderlust Embossing Powder.  I added some Inspiration Point Sequins to the card front to finish it off.
