Introducing Counting Blessings
This Stamp of Approval box is called Counting Blessings and the contents really spoke to me! In the best of times and even in the darkest of times we all have so much to be thankful for and I love being able to celebrate that through this beautiful stamping hobby! This box made that easy! I created so many cards it was hard to narrow down what to share today!
If you are unsure what the Stamp of Approval Box is, it is a quarterly hand picked, exclusive collection of products that were designed just for the box. The stamps, dies and other fun products in the Stamp of Approval Collection won’t be released for individual sale for several months over at the Catherine Pooler store. Be sure to subscribe to the Wait List so you will be emailed the purchase link when the collection goes on sale on August 16th! These boxes do sell out quickly! And last quarter they sold out in record time!
Good Things are Within Reach
Good Things are Within Reach
For my first card I wanted to show how versatile these products are. While they have a Fall-like theme, they can be used for so many other things! On this first card I used one of my favorite products from the box called Geo Trio Stencil.
I used the Counting Blessings: Geo Trio Stencil included in the box to sponge the black polka dots onto white cardstock. I am a sucker for black & white backgrounds so I was super excited to create my own with this stencil. I love how the dots gradually get smaller as you go! I used the wonderful new Black Jack ink (and I do mean, if you don't have Catherine Pooler's ink you need to head to the store right now! It's the BEST!).
For my panel I stamped a sentiment from the Counting Blessings: Good Things Stamp Set, also using Black Jack ink (it's a fabulous dark gray). I think you'll love this stamp set as it has great sized sentiments for lots of occasions. The little scroll at the bottom of the panel is also from this set. For the hearts in the middle and bottom right hand corner I used dies from the Counting Blessings: Tags, Etc die set.
So Grateful

So Grateful
For this next card I went with a Fall theme and used a fun color scheme of All that Jazz (coming to the Catherine Pooler store soon), Tiara, Tutti Frutti & Grass Skirt inks.
I started by creating the chevron piece down the side. I used the Counting Blessings: Geo Trio Stencil again, sponging with Tiara ink. I splashed some water on the strip to make the water marks. I die cut the tag with the Counting Blessings: Tags, Etc die set. Then I stamped the sentiments which are GORGEOUS with Tutti Frutti & Black Jack ink (did I mention that this ink is must have?? How did I ever live without it? 😊) from the Counting Blessings: Autumn Blessings stamp set. There's lots of great mix & match sentiments in this set in a beautiful font.
The leaves were stamped with the new Counting Blessings: Leaf Motifs stamp set.
