I just returned from TAC Seminar and am so excited to get to share with you 2 cards that I made that are published in the new catalogue!! I sent these cards in last November for a design call that was originally for a February publication. That publication was changed and none of those cards were needed and so I really wasn't expecting to see them in this new catalogue! I was so surprised when I heard that I had cards in it!
You can find my cards on page 76 (using the Just A Note & Forever Family set & page 83 (using the Doodle Bugs set). Here's a sneak peek:
Want to see what the front cover looks like?? Here you go!
I have copies of this catalogue available now. They are only $4.95! I just LOVE some of the new stamp sets!! The new owl image is my absolute favorite and they gave that one to us FREE at seminar!! Can't wait to play with it!!

Happy Father's Day
Here are a couple of Father's Day cards that I made. Pretty simple stuff.
This first one is CASED from one I saw on a blog. Unfortunately, I thought I had saved the page and now I can't find who to give credit to.
This last one, is not one of my favorites by any means! I used a sketch by Laurie Willison as my guide for the layout (her sketch was good, I just didn't do it justice!). The big polka dots were made using...get this, a pop dot! I just adhered the pop dot to my block, dipped it in ink a few times and stamped it on scrap paper to get the stickiness out and then stamped on my cardstock. I LOVE the size of dots that this achieved and will use this technique on a cuter card soon! :) The small outline dots were stamped using the bottom of the question mark in one of the alphabet stamp sets. All stamps are TAC.
In this next view, you can see that the middle panel is on pop dots.
And, in closing, I just want to say Happy Father's day Dwight! You are such a wonderful father to our kids. They adore you and I love you very much! We couldn't be any luckier than to have you in our lives.

Kid Praises
I did a Card to Crop for a June newsletter on an Angel's Only Demonstrator website that I wanted to share with you. For those of you on Paper Wings, I know you haven't seen this yet, but I'm not sure if the newsletter will be out this month or not. I decided to go ahead and share the card since I used an image that will be retiring in just a week. I'll post the scrapbook layout and the sketch after the newsletter comes out. I don't want to spoil it all! :)
The stamp I used was from "Kid Praises" and it will retire June 25th. Such a cute little girl in this stamp set (you'll see why I chose this image when you see my scrapbook page later!).
The flowers are from "Petal Pack" and are stamped with VersaMark Sea Breeze ink. The paper is one of my favorites "Catelynne". Do you like how the buttons create a scalloped border? That was fun! I colored the image using my dove blender and aquacolor crayons and then popped the image up on pop dots.
The scalloped border was cut with my Cloud scissors and then I used a hole punch to make the holes in each scallop.

Punk Princess??
Two of the cards that I made for the TAC June Specials Promotional Playlist used the set "Punk Princess". Now, this is not a set that I would have ever bought. In fact, it is a little out of my comfort zone! But, working with it was a FUN challenge and I'm so glad that I got to play with it!!
I wanted to create a card that really showcased the versatility of this set. That's where the girly card above came out of. We all know people who go through hard times and need a little encouragement. This is a card for that person.
I LOVE the color combo on this card! I used TAC Catelynne paper but instead of going with the more traditional pink, I found a melon Bazzill color that TAC sells to match. Paired with the green and blue, with a little white thrown in for accent, it is just yummy!
I free-handed the polka dots on the cards (you all know how much I LOVE polka dots!!) using VersaMark ink and a clean pencil eraser. If you find it hard to keep the circles lined up (you can see mine aren't perfect), my good friend Laurie has created a template that she uses. Check out her post on that here. I popped the cloud and one of the lightning bolts off the page to give it some dimension using pop dots.
Here is the second card I submitted using this set.
The bones are stamped in VersaMark on the brown TAC paper. I made my own patterned paper using Belle Rose & Burnt Umber Palette inks and stamping the images one after the other. The bow was paper pieced.
Don't forget that these sets are only available until the end of June with a $30 purchase!

Fruit Collage June Special
I'm back!! It seems like forever since I've had access to the internet, but in reality it has only been one week. We are moved (not quite all unpacked yet, but we're making progress).
I wanted to share another one of the June projects that I designed for The Angel Company's Promotional Playlist.
Originally, when I started the design for this jar I thought that it would be great for homemade strawberry jam (or grape since that image is also included in this set) but since I don't can, I didn't have any on hand. But, then while in a checkout stand I saw strawberry licorice!! What a fun gift idea!
Below, you can see a closeup of the image. It is colored lightly with aquacolor crayons and a dove blender. The image is stamped on TAC Kraft paper and embossed with black embossing powder. LOVE how that turned out!
Here is the lid. I used some makeup sponges to pad the lid and then glued it down inside using a hot glue gun. The flowers on the top were also hot glued on and they are from one of the Buttons & Blossoms embellishment jars that TAC sells.
To decorate the side, I tied the ribbon around the jar and attached it with red-lined tape (super heavy duty tape for scrapbooking), also in the TAC catalogue. I tied two little bows to accent the jar and also glued them on and then added the buttons.
Hope you enjoyed this gift idea! Be sure to check out the other projects on TAC's June Promotional Play List and REMEMBER that these sets are ONLY available until the end of JUNE with a $30 order!!

June Specials Fun
Hey all! I wanted to share a little fun that I had last week! I was asked by The Angel Company to design some samples for the Spring into June promotion! Remember those sets that I posted on my blog a few days ago...the ones that are only available during June!? Well, those are the sets that I got to design with and I had so much fun! What a NICE and FUN break from packing! You can see all of the designs, by other talented angels as well, here. Six of them are mine. Can you guess which ones?
I'll share some of the details with you as the month goes on but I thought I'd share one with you today (and this will probably be my last post for a while since we're moving Saturday but we just got home from T-ball games, Mason is in the bathtub "soaking" and Sadie is having a snack so that frees me up for a few minutes and I really didn't want to start packing yet!).

This was one of my favorite cards! I LOOOOOVVVVEEE this set! I think the birds in this set are SOOO adorable and I love the little tree/branch.
I colored the little flowers on the tree with my gelly roll pens twice so that they would have a little more dimension.
I stamped the bird twice, once in the water lilly green color and then again in claret. I cut the heart out of the claret bird and glued it onto the water lilly green bird. I used my cloud scissors to make the border and then a hole punch to add the dots. Then, I scored it twice on my scor-pal to create the lines. The "feel better" sentiment is from my go-to sentiment set "Ordinary Greetings".
Don't forget that this set is ONLY available in June with a $30 order!! You won't want to miss out!

Wedding Bliss
I should seriously be packing right now, but sometimes you just have to take a break right!!??
I attended my cousin's wedding on Saturday in Wichita and wanted to share the card I made for her. It was inspired by her wedding invitation which was FABULOUS!! It actually was the inspiration for one of the "Showers of Blessing" cards that I made for the blog hop Laurie & I did and it was inspiration for one of Laurie's cards too!
I wanted to match the wedding invitation as closely as possible (by the way, her progams at the wedding also matched the invitations...so cute!!). Here is what I came up with and I liked how it turned out!
The bottom white "Victorian Elements" images are embossed with white and the same image is stamped on the top of the card on each side of the green Bazzill paper with VersaMark ink to make the watermark affect.
The sentiment is from a retired TAC stamp set which still makes me sad because it is so elegant and one of my favs!!! I just couldn't help but use it for this card!
Hope this inspires you for your next wedding cards. I don't know about you, but we have received several more wedding invitations in the mail already!
