This is a card that I made for a friend's "going away" party. I used a unique color combination for something different. The flower is from the "Linear Sentiments" set. I stamped it once on light yellow card stock with VersaMagic Turquoise Gem ink and then stamped again, without re-inking, the lighter shade between the flower petals (although I was off quite a bit on this one).I punched the scalloped circle out of "Cobalt" DCWV TAC paper. Then, used my "Circle Sampler" set (GREAT multipurpose set!!) and stamped a circle directly on to that paper. I used a circle punch to punch out the stamped flower and then adhered it to the scalloped circle. Then, I used an orange gel pen to make the circles in each scallop. I also outlined one of the stamped flowers with a glittering gel pen--which is hard to see in the photo. The sentiment is from a retired scripture set.
Here I did almost the same thing as I did in the card above only I made this one into a tag and attached it to a bottle of lotion and used it as a Bunko prize for our church group. This was simple and fun and added just a little something extra to the prizes.
