Lil' Inker Designs July Release: Day 2

Welcome to day 2 of the Lil' Inker Designs Release!  All of the products being shown today are currently available in the Lil' Inker Designs store!  If you are following along in the blog hop you should have come from the Lil' Inker Store Blog! There are three $15 gift certificates to the LID store up for grabs, so the more blogs you comment on, the better your chances are of winning!

Today, I have two cards to share.

Jen Carter Alpha Gem Little Things Prayers 1 wm

I used several new products on this card.  I started by using the new Alphabet Gem Dies (that coordinate with the cool Alphabet Gem Stamps that were previously released!).  I wanted to use them in a different way, so instead of stamping the images on to the die cuts, I just left them as is.  I liked the artsy feel it gave the letters.  The little bird & the sentiment are stamped from the The Little Things Stamp set that is adorable!  I love the fonts for the sentiments.  The bird, bird's wing & the gold striped leaf are die cut with the coordinating The Little Things Die set.  The clouds are from the Cut it Out Clouds & Accessories Die set.

Jen Carter Fringe Scallop Circles Doodled Daisies Sunflower 6 wm

For my second card today I used the fun new Fringe Scalloped Circle Dies to make sunflowers!  I love that these are dual scalloped!  I die cut the center from my wood paper (that had been die cut with one of the Stitched Mats Rectangles dies) and the yellow patterned paper with the same sized circle die.  The wood mat is popped up with dimensionals.  I die cut the smallest circle from the Fringe Scalloped Circle Dies to make the inside part of the flower.  For the stem I used the Sketched Floral Die Set & for the leaves I used the Awesome Blossom Dies.

That sentiment with the cute font is from the Doodled Daisies Stamp set!  I love the fun sentiments in this set!

Jen, these cards are super fun and creative! I love how you always think outside the box! I also really love how you just used the letters alone from the Alphabet Gems Die Set. It reads so easily and I didn't think that was an option. Yay!!!! I sure do love that you used the Fringe Scalloped Circles as flowers too. Great work here!
Thank you so much,
Laura
