Foiled Seashell

Jen Carter Scallop Shell Foiled 1

For today's card I went with a sea theme!  I die cut the seagulls with a die from Frantic Stamper called Flying Gulls.  The sentiment is from Lawn Fawn.  This paper was perfect for the background and came from the Summer Party Paper Pad from Echo Park.

To create the Scalloped Seashell I used a new technique (to me).  I used some Heidi Swapp Reactive Mist Spray after I die cut the shell and then ran it through my Minc machine.  LOVE!!  I really like the look it gave the seashell!  I attached it with dimensionals.

I'm entering this card in the CAS(E) this Sketch! Challenge #176 based on the sketch below.

I'm also sharing this at Word Art Wednesday for Anything Goes!

Thanks for stopping by today!

This is so beautiful and peaceful...Love the die-cut elements. Thank you for joining our Challenge last week and hope you join us again in our new Challenge beginning today at Word Art Wednesday. Leaving you with an encouragement from God's Word in Hebrews 3:6 which says, "But Christ is faithful as the Son over God's house. And we are His house, if we hold firmly to our confidence and the hope of which we boast." Have a blessed week...
