Love You

Hey everyone!  Happy belated New Year!  I took last week mostly off from blogging to enjoy the break with my family! It's hard to believe that break is over and tomorrow we go back to school! Time sure flew but it was great!

I've spent time creating though and I have a lot of new cards that I'll be sharing with you over the next few weeks!  Today, the focus is on the next big holiday, Valentine's Day and I've pulled out some great new dies to complete this card!

Jen Carter Country Heart Love You Card

I love this large Country Heart die from Frantic Stamper (and there is a smaller version of this same heart included in the die set as well)!  It is really a die that you can use 3 ways and you know how much I love versatility!  It cuts out the middle heart (shown in pink on this card), the outline (shown in dark gray, although it looks black), and you can make a window with it on your card front as well if you'd like (or use as a shaker)! I adhered the outline and the solid heart together and popped it up with pop dots.

Then, I die cut this fantastic Handwritten Love You die with white glitter paper and attached it to the hearts.  I love how the edges partly hang off the side of the heart.  Do you see that tiny button heart at the top of the large heart?  That is also a die included in the Country Hearts die set (of 8).

I am entering this into the Crazy4Challenges #267 Challenge which is to make a Clean & Simple Card and also the Fusion One Year Anniversary Challenge which was to use the photo or the sketch for inspiration.  I took inspiration from the colors in the photo and also how the banner was draped over the corner of the board.

This was a super easy card to put together!  I hope you enjoyed it!
