Blessings

Hey!!  Wow!  Has this ever been a busy week!! I'm feeling pretty tired and ready to relax during this last week before I have to go back to work for the school year.  I'm not quite ready for work to start back up yet, this summer has flown by!

I wanted to share a card I made for the Curtain Call Challenge this week.  The theme was nautical. I don't have any nautical stamps yet that I could think of so I had to go a different direction for this theme.

Nautical God Bless

I used nautical inspired colors, some nautical paper and used the chevrons to mimic waves (do you see the line of fish that are swimming in the "water".  The sentiment is from Verve and I just love the font and arrangement of the words on it!

There is still time to play along if you'd like to!

Thanks for stopping by!

  2. You really captured a nautical feel Jen...love the chevrons and how smart you were to use that teeny, tiny fish patterned paper. The little wrap of twine was the perfect finishing touch for this card. Great job.
