Coffee in Summer??

I have to say that I love flavored coffee drinks...even in the summer!  It's a treat to get a Caramel Mocha Latte or a Milky Way Mocha every now and then (sometimes I do get them iced rather than hot).  When I saw PTI's "Warm Happiness" set up for sale at a great price (it is a used set) and since I didn't place a PTI order this month, I knew I wanted to grab it up before it was gone!  I'm so glad I did!

When I first stamped this cute little polka dotted mug, I kid you not, I was giddy! It is so CUTE!!  I know, I know, it is JUST a mug!  But, it is a CUTE polka dotted mug!!

Our church recently opened a small coffee shop in it and I thought that this set could come in very handy in the near future!!

My card is based on a sketch from the Clean & Simple blog.  It is sketch #103 and if you want to play along you can find the information here.

Thanks for stopping by today!!

Supplies (all PTI unless noted)
Stamps: Warm Happiness
Paper: Melon Berry, Brown, Rustic White
Ink: Aqua Mist, Chocolate Brown, Tea Dye Duo
Other: Sunshine Impression Plate, Ribbon, Button, Chocolate Bakers Twine

I love the swirl impression plate with this card ...... it reminds me of when I am siring the milk into my tea and how it is going round and round when I take out the spoon ....... Great colors Jen!!!

This is so pretty Jen! I love the Aqua Mist with the Melon Berry. I have to admit I don't drink hot coffee drinks in the summer, but I do love my frappacino's all year round ;)

Your CHURCH opened a coffee shop? WOW. That's different!
DO you know I've never had a cup in my life? Crazy, but this cute card is definitely inspiring!

I've been to a couple of churches that had coffee shops and I love it. We have coffee, but each Sunday School class is responsible for making or bringing, so there are no non fat mocha latte's anywhere to be found..lol...just Trader Joe's or Folgers. Ha!

The card is great! I really love the colors you chose!

Congrats on your new set! It's one on my ever growing wish list :) Very pretty card and colors! The impression plate works so well here. Have a fabulous weekend, Jen!

PS: I love flavored coffees, too. Vanilla and coconut flavor is my favorite :)

Jen, this is such a great card! The colors you selected are so pretty and soothing...just like a cuppa! And I love how the texture plate circles mimics the steam and the polka dots....it's perfection!

Carol, as a coffee drink fanatic (frozen or iced in the summer), I am predisposed to LOVE your card! The polka dotted mug is great, and I love your colors here too--and the sunshine impression plate--it's my favorite! I'm so jealous of your church's coffee shop. We just have boring old coffee, but at least we now have flavored creamers! :-D

It is a cute coffee mug. I love stamping on patterned paper - it's a great look, but so easy!
