Altered CD's

This is one of my latest projects ... altered CD's.

I LOVE to alter things! So much fun!! These are just old CD's that I covered with paper & embellished. We all have old CD's laying around the house that we get in the mail or are so ancient that they don't work well on our computers any more. Put them to good use! If you are interested in a step-by-step tutorial, you will find one that I wrote in the upcoming Blue Heaven addition on A Shade Of Blue soon.

This CD uses TAC's Hip Hop paper (love that paper), the Jubilee Gift With Purchase set "Precious Moments" & the stamp set "Dance With Your Spirit".

I love the Rustic Chic paper. The background paper on this CD is one from the Rustic Chic collection. I used the Coluzzle Nested File Folder Template to cut the small file folder and the words and punctuation are from "Soft Spoken". The Soft Spoken set has tons of different word combinations that you can make. Very versatile word set! The tag at the top is from the Essential Elements Chipboard set and is painted with brown acrylic paint.

This altered CD can be used as a Christmas ornament. You could make one each year to hang on your Christmas tree as a reminder of previous years. You could put your favorite pictures from the year on it or put your Christmas photo from the year. Be sure to put the date on it somewhere!
The paper & tag are from the Merry Wishes TAC paper collection. Some of the paper in this pack is Christmas or winter themed but most of it could be used at any time of the year! The word & number stamps are from the "Soft Spoken", Jubilee GWP "Precious Moments" & "Simple-Bet" alphabet sets. The splatters on the bottom of the green paper are from the "So Splattered" Jubilee hostess set.
